Oh Gee... Look Who's 3!!!!!

Months, that is!

-Wears 6 month size clothes mostly. He can fit into a few 3 month onsies, but they are Jersey Shore-tight.

-Eats a 4-6oz bottle every 3-4 hours. He's all formula fed at this point. (see previous post about my non-cooperative boobs).

-Can (finally) sleep on his own! He naps on the couch wedged between the arm and a pillow (yes, I keep my eye on him for safety reasons):

-He takes a long morning nap and then cat naps throughout the rest of the day.

-He sleeps at night in his crib!!! Swaddled, on top of a robe of mine (so he can smell Mom), and with his head in the curve of his Boppy pillow. Oh, and with white noise going. The gimmicks we try to get our baby to sleep.

-Sleeps at night anywhere from 5-9 hours, gets up to be changed and eat, then goes back down for 2-4 hours. He's pretty damn good at night!

-Likes to be up for the day by 6am.. which will work perfectly with my work schedule.

-Doesn't love tummy time, but is ok with it if someone does it with him:

-Rolled over on Wednesday, at 3 months, 2 days old!!!! I made him do it about 8 times to make sure it wasn't just a fluke.

-Loves to interact when he's awake and be talked to.

-Coos, gurgles, blows raspberries and makes word sounding noises "yeah" "ma" "no" and "gee" while he babbles.

-Loves songs sang to him... Itsy Bitsy Spider is his favorite.

-Smiles all the time when he is awake (yes!!! my fussy newborn is finally outgrowing that and becoming a happy baby!!!)

-Loves to sit facing out and look at the world.

-LOVES his "comfy cozy" blanket (pictured above). He'll sleep like a champ in that thing!

-Can sit up in his Bumbo chair and thinks its great.

-Is very expressive. These three pictures were taken just seconds apart:

-Has started to drool buckets and needs a costume change or a bib at some point in the day.

-Likes to chew on toys.. he can't hold them yet but he loves the delectable taste of his Sophie giraffe's ears if I put them in his mouth:

-Pulls my hair and is stronger than you'd expect a 3 month old to be when doing so.

-Makes his body stiff as a board if he is hungry or not feeling good. It's like trying to hold and soothe a log.

-Makes me laugh every single day. :-)
