Right before we hit October the stars aligned and we had a Sunday with nothing to do, and a forecast on the coast of 75 degrees and sunny.
So.... #Duh... off to the coast we went for one last hurrah!!!
The weather did not disappoint. It was HOT. No wind, no clouds.... we went to Seaside this time and I think that might be a new favorite spot to go with young kids. The beaches are endless and there is so much to do in town.
First though, playing on the beach! Writing our names, digging holes, walking down to the water...
Then we headed back to the car to change into clean dry clothes and headed into town to wander. We braved a cafe to have lunch, and guys... I think we are finally able to eat out with both kids! They behaved really well!
Owen was really shocked his root beer had bubbles!!!
Then we wandered around the shops and looked at all the corny fun stuff you only can find at the coast!
Of course they wanted to buy EVERYTHING.
Then we went back to the sand for a bit to get good and tired before heading home.
Days like this are just heaven to me, seriously... I can't wait until next summer and more days at the coast!
